Steady Natural Health is reader-supported. This page explains, in plain language, how we make money and how that relates to the articles you read here. We publish it because the U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires clear disclosure of material connections between publishers and the products they discuss, and because we think you deserve to know.
What an affiliate link is
Some links on this website are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and then buy a product, the seller pays us a commission. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the seller directly. The commission is paid by the seller out of their own margin.
Most of the affiliate links on this site go through the ClickBank marketplace, which processes the payment on behalf of the product seller. You will usually see the ClickBank name on your receipt and can request refunds through ClickBank's customer-service site (clkbank.com) as well as through the seller.
How you can recognize them
Every article that contains affiliate links carries a disclosure notice directly below the title, before the first link.
Affiliate links are marked for search engines with the rel="sponsored" attribute.
Buttons and links to product pages use neutral wording such as "check the current price" or "see packages and refund terms." We do not pretend to be the manufacturer, and we are not the "official website" of any product.
How commissions affect our content
Commissions do not change the facts we report. Ingredient doses, study results, prices, side effects and refund terms are taken from primary sources (the product label, the seller's own order and refund pages, peer-reviewed research, and public complaint records) and we cite them.
We do write about products we can earn a commission on more often than products we can't. That is a real bias and we would rather tell you about it than hide it.
We rank and compare products by evidence, format, label transparency and value. Where a product we earn from ranks below a product we don't earn from, we say so.
We never accept payment for a positive review, and we do not publish paid placements disguised as editorial content.
What we don't do
We do not use "scam" or "fraud" click-bait titles to draw you in and then sell you the same product.
We do not publish fake testimonials, invented personal results, or before-and-after images we can't verify.
We do not claim that any supplement cures, treats or prevents disease.
Other income
We may display advertising through Google AdSense. Advertisers do not see or influence our articles.
